It would be a sin against nature to build on one of our few natural parks. Why do we need more apartments? We can't even fill the ones we have in the area. Just another example of a greedy builder who does not care about the environment - only money in their pocket.

I agree with April. We have empty apartment buildings all over this city that are an eye sore. Parks run few and far between. It is unthinkable to use this natural preserve for more housing, especially in today's real estate market. Rehabilitate an existing building, like the one behind the Pawn Shop at the entrance to Mayport. The mess is a horrible first impression to Mayport residence and new military families.
